Who we are

SkipTape is a sizing service run by Skip Limits, Egypt. You can reach us at [email protected].

These terms apply when you request a SkipTape trial for your business and when you use it. By ticking the box you accept them.

What the trial is

A free trial for your business: a private link that measures a set number of people. We tell you the number when we approve your request.

We decide which requests we approve, and we can change or end a trial at any time. A trial does not oblige you to buy anything.

What SkipTape does

From one photo of a person, their height, their weight and their gender, SkipTape works out their body measurements.

The measurements are estimates inferred from the photo. They help you choose a size; they do not promise how a garment will fit.

Your trial link

The link is for you and your staff. Keep it private: anyone who has it can use your trial's measurements.

Who can be measured

You and the people you measure must be 18 or older. Do not send photos of children.

Only measure people who have agreed to it, and tell them that their photo, height, weight and gender are sent to SkipTape to work out their measurements.

Give correct height and weight. The result depends on them.

What we collect

From your request: your name, your business, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and your message.

For each measurement: the photo, height, weight and gender, and the measurements we work out.

Basic technical data such as the connection address, used to keep the service safe and to stop misuse.

How we use it

To run your trial, show you the results, and contact you about the trial and about SkipTape.

To keep the service safe and working, and to check and improve the accuracy of our measurements, without names or contact details.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is kept

Your data is kept with cloud providers we use to run SkipTape. Some of them are outside Egypt. We use them only to provide the service.

Your rights

You, and anyone you measured, can ask to see, correct or delete their data, ask us to limit or stop using it, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected].

You can also complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.

Fair use

Do not misuse SkipTape: no automated use, no attempts to get around its limits, and no photos of other people without their agreement.

Our responsibility

We work to keep SkipTape accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you or your customers make based on a measurement or a recommendation.
